Recommended Action:
That the City Council, by motion and under Government Code section 54957, hold a closed session to discuss matters posing cyber security threats to public services and facilities within the City of Carlsbad with counsel and cyber security staff as follows:
Sheila Cobian, Assistant City Manager
Laura Rocha, Deputy City Manager, Administrative Services Maria Callander, Information Technology Director
Joe Stepheson, Assistant Information Technology Director Doug Kappel, Information Technology Manager
Chris Larsen, Information Technology Security Manager
Anayeli Zavala, Deputy City Attorney
Sarah Reiswig, Risk Manager
If circumstances necessitate the absence of a specified designated representative, an agent or designee may participate in place of the absent representative so long as the name of the agent or designee is announced at an open session held prior to the closed session.
