A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING CITY COUNCIL MEMBER TERESA ACOSTA AS THE
VOTING DELEGATE AND CITY MANAGER GEOFF PATNOE AS THE ALTERNATE
VOTING DELEGATE FOR THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND EXPO TO BE HELD IN LONG BEACH ON OCT. 8-10, 2025 WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad is a member of the League of California Cities, or Cal Cities; and WHEREAS, as a member, the City of Carlsbad is entitled to vote on resolutions that establish Cal Cities policy at the General Assembly scheduled in Long Beach on Friday, Oct. 10, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1.That the above recitations are true and correct.
2.That the proposed action does not constitute a project within the meaning of the California Environmental Quality Act under California Public Resources Code Section 21065 in that it has no potential to cause either a direct physical change in the environment or a reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment and therefore does not require environmental review.
3.That the following are designated as the Voting Delegate and Alternate for the League of California Cities Annual Conference representing the City of Carlsbad:
