Subject Closed Session Regarding Security Threats
Recommended Action
That the City Council, by motion and as authorized by Government Code Section 54957(a), hold a closed session to discuss matters posing a threat to the security of public services or public facilities within the City of Carlsbad, including consulting with legal counsel and the following staff responsible for security matters:
Sherry Freisinger, City Clerk
Sheila Cobian, Assistant City Manager
Christine Calderwood, Police Chief
Jennifer True, Senior Assistant City Attorney
Faviola Medina, Director of Constituent & Clerk Services Bret Cosgrove, Acting Police Lieutenant
Morgen Fry, Assistant City Clerk
Melissa Rhodes, Deputy City Clerk
Liana Somepalli, Deputy City Clerk
Adriana Trujillo, Deputy City Clerk
If circumstances necessitate the absence of a specified designated representative, an agent or designee may participate in place of the absent representative so long as the name of the agent or designee is announced at an open session held prior to the closed session.
Any required report of closed session action will occur at the City Council meeting starting at 5:00 p.m.
