ITEMS PULLED FROM CONSENT AGENDA
Item 6 - Resolution 2025-056 Approving Revisions to City Policy C89-02: City Council Meetings, Orders of Council, Agenda Packets, Minutes of Meeting and Agenda Distribution Councilmember Dramov requested more accurate estimated times for agenda items and placing high-interest items at the beginning of the meeting. Councilmember Buder preferred the phrasing "finalize the draft agenda" instead of "shall be approved by the Mayor or the Mayo/s designee." City Attorney Pierik clarified that the policy allows the Mayor to select a designee, such as the Mayor Pro Tem, to set the agenda in their absence even if it's not formalized in the policy. Mayor Byrne said he would like something added to the policy stating that the Mayor or Mayor's designee will review the final draft of the agenda before it is published. Councilmember Buder emphasized the need for clarity in the policy regarding the roles of the Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem, or other designees, during agenda preparation and finalization.

Councilmember Baron suggested continuing the item to the next meeting for approval with discussed amendments and circulated to Council for review.
