CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Byme called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m.
Rol! call: Councilmemberc Jeff Baron, Hans Buder, Alissandra Dramov, and Mayor Dale Byme were present. Absent: Mayor Pro Tem Delves.

EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT
Title: City Administrator
City Attorney Pierik read the closed session title.
Public comment:

Marisa Bermudez answered public comments, clariffing that a community meeting on the City Administrator recruitment is set for Friday, September 4,2026, from 1-3 p.m.. She noted that the September 1,2026, Regular City Council meeting wil! include an open session update on the recruitment process to gather public input on the draft brochure.
Councilmember Dramov suggested voting against holding the closed session since the item would be agendized for September 1st, a position supported by Councilmember Buder.
Councilmember Baron emphasized the city's tight deadline for the recruitment, advocating to proceed with the closed session to avoid delays.
A motion introduced by Dramov and seconded by Buderto cancelthe closed session and address the item in open session on September 1st failed on a 2-2-1-0 roll call vote.
Motion by Councilmember Dramov to cancelthe closed session and address the item in open session on September lst, seconded by Gouncilmember Buder. Motion failed, 2-2-1- 0 by the following roll callvote:
AYES: Councilmembers Dramov, Buder
NOES: Councilmember Baron, Mayor Byrne
ABSENT: Mayor Pro Tem Delves
