Notice is hereby given that the City Council of
Cathedral City will hold a Public Hearing on the
Denial review of Planning Commission’s
Approval of the following:

Request to establish an event center within an existing 80,000 square foot commercial building and construct
an approximately 7,860 square foot outdoor
patio/garden area.

ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION
The Project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per Section No. 15303, Class 3
(New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures).
All information regarding the proposed project is
available for public review at the City of Cathedral City Civic Center, Planning Department, 68 -700 Avenida
Lalo Guerrero during regular business hours (Monday
through Thursday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM).

February 9, 2022 at 5:30 PM, or as soon thereafter as
the matter may be heard

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City may limit the
ability of interested persons to physically appear at the time and place set forth above and may provide
alternative means for interested pers ons to observe
and be heard cons istent with AB361, or any ot her
Executive Orders tha t may exist at the time of the
hearing. Information on how to observe and participate in the hearing remotely will be published in the agenda for the February 9, 2022 City Council meeting.
Persons may submit written testimony on the proposed
project or environmental determination, which must be
received prior to the close of the public hearing. Please send all correspondence, written testimony or inquiries to the project planner.
The City Council , at the public hearing or during
deliberations, may approve, deny, or propose changes
to the project or to the environmental determination.
If you challenge any of thes e items in court, you may
be limited to raising only those issues you or someone
else raised at the public hearing described in this
notice or in written correspondence delivered to the
City Council at, or prior to, the public hearing. Please send all correspondence to the Project Planner.
