BACKGROUND:
The Public Arts Commission currently has one vacant seat.
DISCUSSION:
The vacancy on the Public Arts Commission was posted as required by Government Code 54974. Staff received three applications and Council conducted interviews during the Study Session Meeting on February 23, 2022.
The term for this vacant seat will expire on June 30, 2023.
Staff recommends the City Council make one appointment to the Public Arts Commission to fill the vacant seat with a term continuing to June 30, 2023, based on the interviews conducted during the Study Session.

There is no fiscal impact with this item.
