Title: Appointment to Public Arts Commission

RECOMMENDATION:
To make an appointment to the Public Arts Commission to fill one vacant seat on the Commission with a term continuing to June 30, 2023.
BACKGROUND:
The Public Arts Commission currently has one vacant seat.
DISCUSSION:
The vacanc y on the Public Arts Commission was posted as required by Government Code 54974. Staff received three applications and Council conducted interviews during the Study Session Meeting on February 23, 2022.
The term for this vacant seat will expire on June 30, 2023.
Staff recommends the City Council make one appointment to the P ublic Arts Commission to fill the vacant seat with a term continuing to June 30, 2023, based on the interviews conducted during the Study Session.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact with this item.
