Andrew Lee, Assistant Engineer, provided an overview of the recommendation to approve a Substantial Amendment to reallocate unspent prior year CDBG funds for the FY 2021-22 Annual Action Plan for submittal to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Members of the City Council requested clarification on what services will be provided by WeeCare with the requested allocations and how it complies with the CARES Act funding.
Jessa Costanzo, WeeCare, provided an overview of the two programs offered by WeeCare.
The City Council expressed concern related to the allocations proposed for the WeeCare program and requested that further information be provided prior to the Council making a decision.
