POLICE DEPARTMENT
SOMEBRAL CITY FOUN "Pride in Service"

February 1, 2022
Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians
Ms. Betty Callies
Executive Director Tribal Philanthropy
5401 Dinah Shore Drive
Palm Springs, California 92264
Dear Ms. Callies,
The Cathedral City Police Department and our community members appreciate the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indian's generosity through the years. Past donations have impacted our residents in many ways and have helped us help others. Our partnership with the Agua Caliente Band has allowed us to provide the highest quality public service to our community, and to demonstrate the benefits of this cooperation to others in the valley. This request comes during a challenging time for law enforcement but reflects our desire to maintain a safe and effective environment from which to serve our community.

In partnership with our IT Department, I have a continued need within the Police Department to purchase additional computers to complete the upgrades we began last year. We have identified a need for 11 Dell All-In-One Computers to bring the remaining of our working computers up to date as the computers being replaced are ten years old. The total amount to replace the 10 computers is $13,755.63. An additional $9,410.04 will be used to purchase four Mobile Data Computers (MDC's) and $6129.15 for vehicle mounts to replace the aging computers in some of our police units. These MDC's are the computers in our patrol cars that officers use daily to and of our Mic sale o and ed and a dece mount necessary our Mes have been discontinued and the mounts are not universal. The total donation request amount is $29,294.82.

Your consideration in approving this charitable donation request is greatly appreciated. You are welcome to contact Senior Analyst Jennifer Nellis at 760-770-0371 should you need further information or clarification of our application.

Sincerely,
George
