City Manager Charles McClendon provided an update on emergency actions related to COVID-19. He indicated that the numbers of confirmed cases have increased over the last two weeks and it is really important to continue to monitor the data and report on this information. He reported that there are currently no confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the city staff.
Terry Applegate expressed her concern with rising COVID-19 cases and feels the City needs to ramp up mitigation measures and urged the Council to consider reinstating an indoor mask mandate.
