At the Association of Riverside County Chiefs of Police & Sheriff (ARCCOPS) meeting on January 23, 2020 the AB109 remaining PACT funding was discussed. It was approved for the remaining funding to be dispersed among the AB109 members to be utilized toward the purchase of a PACT related vehicle or other PACT approved equipment, with the Riverside Sheriff's Office opting out.
A Termination Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Regarding Fiscal Agent Responsibilities for the AB109 Funded Members of the Riverside County Post-Release Accountability and Compliance Team was agreed on and approved by all the AB109 PACT Members. This Termination MOU was entered into as of June 24, 2020. The intent of this Amendment & Termination of the AB109 MOU is to terminate the Agreement and to authorize the AB109 PACT Fiscal Agent to distribute all remaining AB109 Funds to those AB109 Parties designated in the MOU.
Please find enclosed a check for your agency's final distribution amount of $23,638.01.
The Final Distribution Parties shall promptly use the funds only to purchase PACT replacement vehicles or other PACT approved equipment, and shall retain written documentation of such qualified expenditure.
