Councilmember Raymond Gregory expressed his support for the project, however, he expressed his concern with the lack of consensus from the proposed neighborhood by way of questionnaire or petition. He wants to ensure that the policy is adhered to and consensus is gained by way of a questionnaire or petition from the affected areas moving forward. He encouraged the Public Arts Commission to provide education to the public about these art pieces as they are funded by the Arts Education Fund. Mayor Pro Tem Rita Lamb feels this project is a great project and she concurs with Councilmember Gregory.

Danielle Mead expressed her concern with the lack of consensus from the proposed neighborhood for this project. She feels this is a great project in general, however, she is not sure city funds should fund this project. She encouraged the Public Arts Commission to reconsider how this and future projects are funded.
DeeAnn Hopings expressed her support of this project and feels it will promote and benefit the city.
