Subject: Resignation from the Planning Commission
Hello Tracy,
I am saddened to tender my resignation with the Cathedral City Planning Commission effective June 30, unless the City Council has been unable to appoint a replacement by that date, in which such event my resignation will be effective upon the appointment of my successor.
Four unforeseeable events have converged within the past six months making my resignation mandatory.
It has been a great honor to serve my community. Working with you, the leadership of the Building and Planning Department, The other City Officials, and last, but absolutely not least, my fellow Commissioners on the Planning Commission, has been a rewarding and filling experience.
With respect to my fellow Commissioners, I am in awe of your dedication and commitment to outstandingly competent public service, performed in the most ethical manner. The City has been, and will continue to be, bettered by your service. I hope that when I return to the States we will be able to get together for a coffee, or perhaps a meal, when I can properly wish you well.
