City Manager Charles McClendon provided a Cannabis Regulation update related to Outdoor Consumption Lounges. The following points were presented:
Existing 250-foot set back from residential neighborhoods that would apply to outdoor lounges
The existing setback as it relates to Resort Residential neighborhoods Staff identified locations and setbacks for all existing retail businesses Business that could be affected by the addition of a 250-foot setback from Resort Residential
Provision to require a certified odor control plan using a Vapor Phase System with an odor neutralizer or a similar technology
It was the consensus of the City Council to direct staff to move forward with the regulations as presented.
