Budget Adjustments Summary
After discussion amongst the City Council, it was the consensus of the City Council to direct staff to bring forward FY 2021-2022 budget amendment in two phases. The first phase will be the budget items that are non-personnel roll over budget adjustments and items the City Council has already acted on. Staff will also provide more detailed information on revenues and expenditures for Council’s review. The second phase of the budget amendment, when presented to Council for consideration, will include an analysis of each new position, include the needs for staff reclassifications, and how these changes will make processes more efficient. City Manager Charles McClendon indicated that he will also prepare a proposal for a grant writer position for Council’s information.
