Dear Mayor Gutierrez,
After careful thought and consideration to my seat on the Public Art Committee, I have decided to resign. I was carefully thinking about if I did get the Chair position at our next meeting, could I give it 100%? And the answer was no. I am working full-time for PSUSD and The Chuck Jones Center for Creativity as well as my own commissions.

I feel this is a good time to resign because the voting for the new seats are taking place.

I appreciate and am truly honored to have served a full year for Cathedral City in the Arts.

I am always available to discuss any work you may want to do within the school system and the students.

I must say in parting what a wonderful addition Commissioner Liebelt is to PAC.

He knows so much about art and the art world. He has great passion for this committee and would make an astounding Vice Chair or Chair!
He is never without a great thought or idea for the arts and fundraising. I am grateful to have met him and he has become a friend of mine.

Thank you again for the opportunity to serve on the Public Art Committee, I really appreciate it.
