Ron Schwartz, Owner of land located in the northeast corner of Date Palm and the I-10 freeway, provided his input and experience in developing real estate projects and what he feels is needed to get development in the north city area.
It was the consensus of the City Council, in an effort to be flexible, to take an incremental approach, whereas if a proposed project meets certain criteria, then the City Council would be willing to entertain amendments to the plan. They directed staff to draft a document with the appropriate criteria goals listed.
