RESOLUTION NO. SA-2022-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL SERVING AS THE BOARD FOR
THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF CATHEDRAL CITY, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A
RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION SA-2015-02 IN ITS
ENTIRETY
WHEREAS, on July 22, 2015, the City Council serving as the Board for the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Cathedral City adopted Resolution SA-2015-02, which adopted a Records Retention Schedule and authorized the destruction of documents in accordance with the provisions of said schedule upon authorization; and
WHEREAS, on August 10, 2022, the City Council of the City of Cathedral City adopted Resolution 2022-__, adopting a Records Retention Schedule, which incorporates all City documents including those that are retained by the Successor Agency, to be destroyed as provided by Section 34090 et seq. of the Government Code of the State of California and in accordance with the provision of said schedule upon the request of the Department Head and with the consent in writing of the Department Head, City Clerk and City Attorney, without further action by the City Council of the City of Cathedral City.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL SERVING AS THE BOARD FOR
THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF CATHEDRAL CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Rescind Resolution SA-2015-02 in its entirety.
SECTION 2. The Secretary shall certify as to the adoption of this resolution and shall cause the same to be processed in the manner required by law.
