Diana Soto, Interim CEO Chamber of Commerce, urged the City Council to approve both proposed agreements. Should the Council only approve a 6 month contract, she requested that a date to consider the next agreement be set.

A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Carnevale and seconded by Councilmember Gregory to authorize the City Manager to execute a service agreement with the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce from January to June 2023 in the amount of $45,500 and a service provider agreement for the 2023/2024 fiscal year in the amount of $73,436 subject to the Economic Development Department confirming the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce materially fulfilled the January to June 2023 contract, and increase the Economic Development Department's professional services budget in the 2023/2024 by $43,436 for a total annual payment of $73,436.
