After discussion, the City Council expressed support for continuing allocations for the following events/programs for FY 2023/2024:
Kids Summer Film Series
CCHS Homecoming Parade
Halloween Spooktacular
Banner Program
Palm Springs Pride
Fields of Valor
Palm Spring Film Festival
Taste of Jalisco
Cathedral City LGBT Days
State of the City
Harvey Milk Breakfast
Palm Springs Restaurant Week
The City Council also expressed interest for the following options presented by staff:
Explore Food Truck Tuesday events- ensuring local vendors are also utilized Explore options for local city events in lieu of Tejano Music Fest Explore purchasing a city owned balloon for the Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival, and possible changes to days and times for the annual event Increase the North Pole Village at Snow Fest budget
