RECOMMENDATION:
This item is for information and to receive direction from the City Council, no formal action will be taken.
BACKGROUND:
The City Council approved the position of Communications / Events Manager in 2014 to create, implement and manage Special Events by the City of Cathedral City as well as events produced by a third party.
DISCUSSION:
Ryan Hunt, Communications / Events Manager, will provide the city council with an update on proposed FY 2023-2024 special events and seek their feedback.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Attached is a spreadsheet showing the estimated net fiscal impact based on three different options for each event.
