Anne Ambrose, Assistant City Manager, provided an overview of the Assistant City Manager position and the departments that she oversees. She went over the functions of the Assistant City Manager and the approximate time spent in each area. She reported that Information Technology/Management Information Systems will now be under her supervision, and she provided an overview of the department's responsibilities and future goals.
Stone James, Economic Development Director, provided an overview of the staffing of the Economic Development Department, the functions, and the approximate percentage of time spent doing those functions. He presented the department’s activities and accomplishments as well as key future goals. He went over proposed changes and additions for the FY 2023/2024 and FY 2024/2025 budget cycle.
There was discussion amongst the members of the City Council and questions were asked related to the proposed changes and additions for the upcoming budget cycle with responses from staff.
