A. 2022 Crime Statistics
Recommendation: This item is for information and discussion only Police Chief George Crum presented the City Council with the 2022 Crime Statistics for Cathedral City. He provided statistics for the last five years. He also provided information on future crime reduction strategies.
Council provided comments and asked clarifying questions, which were responded to by staff. This item was presented for information and discussion only, there was no formal action taken.

B. Budget and Staffing review of the Police Department
Recommendation: This item is presented for information, discussion, and direction only.
Police Chief George Crum, presented the City Council with an overview of the Police Department's Divisions, the authorized staffing in FY 2013/2014 to present and any staffing changes that are being proposed for the upcoming FY 2023/2024 and FY 2024/2025 budget cycle.
