Megan Harris, Harrison and Associates, provided a presentation on the Development Impact Fee Program which included an overview of the project team, AB 602, Nexus study updates and history, proposed development fees, fee comparisons, policy decisions, and fee program timeline.
James Brownyard, Desert Valley Builders Association (DVBA), expressed the concerns DVBA has with the proposed development impact fee program.
The City Council provided feedback and asked clarifying questions, which were responded to by Ms. Harris and staff. This item was for information and direction only, there was no formal action taken by the City Council.
