On behalf of Rosenbauer Minnesota, LLC and Velocity Fire Equipment, I am pleased to provide this proposal to the Cathedral City Fire Department for one Rosenbauer Custom Pumper and one Custom Rear-Mount Aerial per the provided proposal specifications. The proposed specifications have been prepared to meet the needs of your agency and the apparatus will serve the department well for many years . The proposed apparatu s will be constructed with the highest quality materials and workmanship available in the industry and will provide the utmost in firefighter safety and efficiency on the fireground along with a long service life and low maintenance cost throughout the life of the vehicle. The proposed apparatus are offered through the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchase Program, Rosenbauer contract number 113021-RSD.
The Rosenbauer proposal includes the following:
• One (1) Rosenbauer custom Commander pumper
• One (1) Rosenbauer custom Commander 109’ Viper aerial quint • Required Performance Bond (for financing)
• Radio, intercom and MDT installation through Johnson Equipment Company, Perris CA • Tool and equipment mounting
** does not include tools or equipment other than items identified in our proposal specifications
Travel and training
All travel expenses for three (3) fire department personnel for the following are included (per apparatus build):
• Pre-construction conference at Rosenbauer Minnesota
• Mid-point apparatus inspection
• Final apparatus inspection
• Three (3) days of familiarization and operation training at your location is included for each apparatus
2 Pumper Contract Details;
Apparatus cost: $1,320,606.46 *includes sales tax @ 8.75% 100% pre-payment discount: $ -61,500.00 *from pre-tax cost Revised apparatus cost: $1,253,431.59 *includes sales tax @ 8.75% of reduced amount
NOTE: to receive the noted discount, 100% of the discounted amount must be paid at the time of contract
Aerial Contract Details;
Apparatus cost: $1,846,871.95 *includes sales tax @ 8.75% 100% pre-payment discount: $ -86,600.00 * from pre-tax cost Revised apparatus cost: $1,752,696.95 *includes sales tax @ 8.75% of reduced amount
NOTE: to receive the noted discount, 100% of the discounted amount must be paid at the time of contract
Pricing for both apparatus will remain valid until end of business Monday December 4, 2023.
Payment;
Upon receipt of invoice by the fire department, payment of the final contract amount shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of acceptance of the apparatus by the Fire Department.
If the apparatus are to be pre-paid as noted above, the full contract amount per apparatus must be included at the time of contract.
Delivery:
The proposed apparatus will be comple ted within 660 calendar days after customer approval of post pre - construction (production release) specifications, not including radio installation or tool & equipment mounting.
