RESOLUTION NO. 2023-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CATHEDRAL
CITY, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE FEES FOR THE CITY
BASEBALL/SOFTBALL FIELDS RESERVATIONS.
WHEREAS, the City of Cathedral City (“City”) provides, maintains, and operates nine (9) community parks within City’s boundaries; and, WHEREAS, user and regulatory fees are established by the City Council; and, WHEREAS, the City recently completed the review and evaluation of recreational amenities, services and fees provided within Cities of t he Coachella Valley and nearby cities, specifically for baseball and softball fields; and, WHEREAS, the purpose of the fees is to offset a small portion of the costs associated with the maintenance of City Recreation Fields; and, WHEREAS, in adopting this Resolution, the Cit y Council is acting only on those fees for the services, programs or products set forth in Exhibit “A”.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CATHEDRAL CITY, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. INCORPORATION OF RECITALS
The City Council hereby finds the recitals set forth above to be true and correct.
SECTION 2. ESTABLISHMENT OF FEES, CHARGES, AND RATES
The City Council hereby adopts the fees, charges, and rates as set forth in attached Exhibit “A” and incorporated by this reference.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE
Any new or adjusted fees adopted by this Resolution shall go into effect sixty days after adoption of this Resolution.
SECTION 4. CERTIFICATION
The City Clerk shall attest to and certify the vote adopting this Resolution.
