Andrew Lee, Assistant Engineer, provided the background on the Sarah Street Area Assessment District Formation Process, background and completed work. He introduced Eliza Jane Whitman, from Woodard and Curran, who will present an update on the Phase I Outreach.

oGather Contact Information of Property Owners in area of interest. oSend out information about the potential formation of an assessment district to all property owners.
oMajority of owners are interested in the formation of an assessment district.
It was noted that the City conducted additional outreach. Informal proposals were received for Phase 2A in the event the City Council would decide to move forward with Phase 2.
Frank Barrena stated that he was a property owner in the area of the proposed district and expressed his support of the assessment district and would like to see the City move forward.
It was the consensus of the City Council to move forward with Phase 2, which will be brought to Council for consideration at a later date. This item was for discussion only, no formal action is required.
