After discussion, the City Council expressed their concerns related to the amount of funds requested and how it relates to art education. The Council desires to reevaluate the use of Art Education funds and requested that an item be brought back for further discussion at a future meeting.
A motion was made by Councilmember Gregory and seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Carnevale to bring this request back to the Public Arts Commission to reevaluate if the request would be an appropriate use of Art Education Funds.
