Title: Special Events: Fall 2023 Recap and Spring 2024 Preview

RECOMMENDATION:
This item is presented for information, discussion, and direction only.
BACKGROUND:
The City Council approved the position of Communications & Events Manager and Events & Special Projects Coordinator to create, implement, and manage signature events sponsored by the City of Cathedral City as well as assisting as needed with events produced by third parties utilizing our facilities.
DISCUSSION:
The Communications & Events manager will provide a recap of the fall special events.
It will include information about entertainment, attendance, finances, management, strengths and challenges, and economic impact estimates.
After the fall recap is provided, the Communications & Events Manager will preview the special events coming to Cathedral City during spring 2024.
