Title: Appointments to the Finance Advisory Committee
RECOMMENDATION:
To consider appointing three individuals to the Finance Advisory Committee with terms expiring on June 30, 2026 and June 30, 2027, based on the interviews conducted during the Study Session Meeting of March 27, 2024.
BACKGROUND:
The Finance Advisory Committee currently has four vacancies, two seats with terms expiring on June 30, 2026, and two seats with terms expiring on June 30, 2027.
DISCUSSION:
Applications were received from the following individuals:
Teri Hargreaves
Danny Lee
Rick Saldivar
The three applicants were interviewed on March 27, 2024, during the Study Session Meeting. Based on the interviews conducted, staff recommends that the City Council consider making three appointments to fill the unexpired terms on the Finance Advisory Committee, filling three of the four vacant seats . The City Council will need to clarify which of the four seats they will be filling and the terms for each.

There is no fiscal impact with this item.
