RE: LETTER OF INTEREST
My interest to serve on the Palm Springs International Airport Commission comes from a desire to ensure the Cathedral City community has input in the growth and success of our local airport and that the Cathedral City community has representation at the table to ensure equitable access to the services provided by Palm Springs International Airport. 1 am a retired Flight Attendant and know very well the operations of airports and the airlines that serve the airport. I am familiar with Federal Air Regulations as well.
Having served on the Human Rights Commission in Salina Kansas, 1 am familiar with the importance of community involvement in local government. I have set up and have lived in Cathedral City since 2018 when I purchased my first home. The community of affordability and friendly neighbors is what attracted to me the Panorama Park area and when I purchased my home, I didn't purchase it for now but for my retirement and my older age years.
I thank you for your time and consideration to represent the wonderful city of Cathedral City on the Palm Springs International Airport Commission.
