Dear Ms. Hermosillo:
Please accept this letter as evidence of my interest in applying for the vacancy with the Palm Springs International Airport Commission for the City of Cathedral City.
As a resident of Cathedral City for the past twelve years, people who know me will tell you 1 am a consensus builder and believe in the power of collaboration. Building strong relationships is a skill that I count as one of my strengths. I bring a sense of ethics and integrity and a deep belief in setting high expectations tor myself and with those ! work beside. I will be honest, transparent, and trustworthy.
Having served as an educator for forty years-including that of a Superintendent of Schools, I understand the importance of working with and alongside commissions.
In summary, my experience and technical skills and my confidence in working with and engaging the community to bring "vision to reality," and my collaborative work style will bring a unique skillset to this Commission vacancy.
It would be an honor to serve the City of Cathedral City as a Palm Springs International Airport Commission.
