NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS OF CATHEDRAL CITY
(“CITY”) REGARDING A SALES TAX SHARING
AGREEMENT AMENDMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE
CITY AND GL HOD, LLC FOR HONDA OF THE DESERT
TO INCLUDE GL TOD, LLC FOR TOYOTA OF THE
DESERT
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of Cathedral City
(the “City”) will conduct a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. on August 14, 2024, in City Council Chambers at City
Hall, 68700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero, Cathedral City, CA
92234. At the public hearing, the City shall receive
evidence and testimony and consider (a) an
amendment to the Sales Tax Sharing Agreement
between the City and GL HOD, LLC for Honda of the
Desert, to include GL TOD, LLC for Toyota of the
Desert, as Approved Businesses, in accordance with
Ordinance 730 and (b) the written information
provided in accordance with Government Code
section 53803.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that any and all persons
are invited to appear before the City and present
evidence or testimony concerning the foregoing
matters at the time, date and place set forth herein.
Among other matters, the Agreement concerns the
sharing of sales tax generated from the Honda of the
Desert located at 68025 Kyle Road within the City of
Cathedral City, and from Toyota of the Desert located
at 68105 Kyle Road within the City of Cathedral City,
all more specifically described in the Agreement.
A copy of the proposed Agreement is on file and
available for inspection and copying at a cost not to
exceed the cost of duplication, during normal
business hours at the office of the City Clerk at 68700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero, Cathedral City, CA 92234.
