Title: Ratify the Nomination of Eri Nox by Councilmember Raymond Gregory to fill the Unexpired Vacant Seat on the Historic Preservation Committee Continuing through June 30, 2025.
RECOMMENDATION:
To ratify the nomination of Eri Nox by Councilmember Raymond Gregory to fill an unexpired term on the Historic Preservation Committee and appoint him to serve for a term continuing through June 30, 2025.
BACKGROUND:
The Historic Preservation Committee currently has three vacant seats, with the resignation of Peter Bedard which is on the Agenda this evening. There is one vacant seat with a term expiring on June 30, 2025, and two terms expiring June 30, 2026.
DISCUSSION:
The vacancy on the Historic Preservation Committee was posted as required by Government Code 54974 and it was noticed that applications would be received through the close of business on August 16, 2024.
Staff received one application from Eri Nox. Councilmember Raymond Gregory met with the applicant and it is his desire to nominate Mr. Nox to fill the vacant seat. The application for Mr. Nox is attached for your review.
Pursuant to Resolution 2022-47, staff recommends the City Council ratify Councilmember Raymond Gregory’s nomination and appoint Mr. Nox to fill the unexpired seat on the Historic Preservation Committee with a term expiring on June 30, 2025.

There is no fiscal impact with this item.
