BACKGROUND:
The Palm Springs International Airport Master Plan that is currently under consideration includes the modernization of the airport terminals, a new rental car center, and a future customs facility. The airport was originally designed to accommodate 1.5 million annual passengers, however, today the airport serves over 3 million and changes are needed to meet current and future passenger growth. The Master Plan aims to maintain the heritage design that visitors love while providing an airport experience that reflects the world-class destination that the Coachella Valley is known for.
DISCUSSION:
The Palm Springs Internation Airport Team will provide an overview of the Palm Springs International Master Plan that is currently under consideration.
