Here are the details from Mark, the fiscal supervisor for Animal Sevices. "Animal Services will bill the city half the BOS approved rate. The Fiscal Team will prepare and send the bill to the city that is indicated. There is usually a delay as the Fiscal Team has to wait until the documentation is sent to us to prepare the billing.
If you are paying through check it should be made out to "Riverside County Animal Services". If you are paying though electronic transfer please use "ANARC" as an identifier. Electronic payments go through the counties Treasurers office and without the identifier, extra work to notify all county agencies is required and then the department has to have knowledge of the payment. The Fiscal Team is not always knowledgeable about payments being sent." Best,
