DISCUSSION:

On December 11, 2024, the City Council ratified the local agency assignments list, and all of the agencies were notified of their respective appointments. Since then, Councilmember Ernesto Gutierrez has indicated his desire to serve on the Coachella Valley Conservation Commission, as he has done in the years past, and Mayor Nancy Ross has agreed.

Attached is the list of Local Agency Assignments with this change for your review, there are no other changes in assignments. Staff recommends the City Council ratify the assignments and direct the City Clerk to notify CVAG of this change of the representation for the City on the Conservation Commission.
