Dear Cathedral City “Finance Advisory Committee Selection Committee”.
I am writing to express my interest in serving on the Cathedral City Finance Advisory Committee. As a proud resident of Cathedral City for the past 20 years, I am deeply committed to contributing to the well-being and fiscal health of our community.
Throughout the years, I have served in leadership roles and on executive boards of diverse nonprofit organizations, including the Rotary Club, LULAC, National Charity League (NCL), and the Palm Springs Teachers Association. My civic engagement has also included active participation in school board committees such as the SCUSD Budget Committee, the District English Learners Advisory Committee, and the School Site Council. These experiences have allowed me to develop a strong understanding of public service, financial oversight, and community advocacy.
My dedication to these roles has strengthened my ability to collaborate, assess financial priorities, and ensure transparency—skills I believe are essential for a meaningful contribution to the Finance Advisory Committee. I am eager to bring my experience, perspective, and deep-rooted commitment to civic engagement to this role.
