RECOMMENDATION:
To provide second reading by title only and adopt an ordinance amending Title 9 Planning and Zoning of the Cathedral City Municipal Code to add Chapter 9.09 (Public Notification and Community Meetings) and to amend Chapters 9.05, 9.52, 9.72, 9.74, 9.76, and 9.78 to delete existing provisions that conflict with new Chapter 9.09 relating to public notification requirements.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
On June 25, 2025, the City Council conducted a public hearing and voted to introduce the proposed ordinance and move it over for adoption. Attached for adoption is the proposed ordinance.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Adoption of this ordinance does not have a fiscal impact.
