RESOLUTION NO. 2026 -
A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CATHEDRAL
CITY, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE
FINANCIAL SERVICES DIRECTOR TO ACT AS THE OFFICIAL DESIGNEE FOR THE LISTOS CALIFORNIA CERT SUPPORT GRANT (LC) PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, Cathedral City Fire & EMS applied for the Listos California CERT Support Grant (LC) to support Cathedral City’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council accepted a grant from the California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) in the amount of $25,000 to update the city’s CERT trailer and equipment.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to assign staff as Official Designees to enter into a Grant Subaward with Cal OES for the Listos California CERT Support Grant (LC) Program and authorize all amendments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Cathedral City that the City Manager and the Financial Services Director are hereby authorized to act as the Official Designees to execute grant agreements and amendments for the Cal OES Fiscal Year 2023 Listos California CERT Support Grant (LC) Program between June 1, 2024 to December 31 2025.
