Council Member Mark Carnevale was a dear friend to my family. We worked closely together on the Fields of Valor event, and my final memories of Mark are from the closing morning of the event, when he arrived early to help collect flags alongside me. I reme mber teasing him about how happy he was that morning. Mark truly loved this city, and his passion and commitment to Cathedral City remain an inspiration.
I believe I can serve our city with the same passion, dedication, and love that Mark exemplified. It would be a great honor and privilege to continue his legacy by serving our community and helping move Cathedral City forward.
