Title: Council Appointments to Various Local Agencies
RECOMMENDATION:
To review the list of Agency Assignments, ratify the appointments and direct the City Clerk to notify the agencies of the respective appointments.
BACKGROUND:
Each year, at the first meeting in December, the City Council reviews the list of Local Agency Assignments in the event any changes need to be made due to schedule changes and/or Council changes due to an election. On December 10, 2025, the City Council ratified the assignments with some assignments marked as TBD due to the vacant District Three seat.
DISCUSSION:
With the appointment of Councilmember Christina Gordon to the District Three seat on January 7, 2026, staff requests City Council review and ratify the updated draft Agency Assignments list. Below is a list of local agencies and other assignments contained in the draft list, which is attached for your review.
