Dear Mr. Baldizzone:
Pursuant to your request, we are providing a unit rate proposal for construction soil testing services associated with the subject Retention Basin project in the city Of Cathedral City, California.
Based on our discussions with your office, we are providing the following estimated fees for the earthwork at the project site. If the actual schedule increases or decreases, our fees will be adjusted based on the following unit rates:
Field Testing
Soil Compaction Testing - 10 tests @ $120/test $1200.00 Laboratory Testing
Maximum Density (Native) - 1 @ $270 ea. $270.00
Total: $1,470.00
We have estimated a budget fee of $ 1,500.00 to provide the services described above.
We have attempted to be realistic in developing our estimate for this project; please keep in mind that our services are directly dependent upon the contractor's schedule and events which occur during the duration of the project, which cannot always be predicted in advance. Any change in the contractor's schedule will impact on our budget. We will attempt to coordinate our services with the contractor's site superintendent to efficiently service the project. In the event that construction activities result in projected additional fees beyond those described herein, we will contact you for additional written budget increase, if necessary.
The fees presented are based on prompt payment for services presented in our standard invoicing format. Please sign this agreement and return it to our office.
