2. Adopt a Resolution establishing regulations pertaining to candidate statements and other materials submitted to voters for the General Municipal Election to be held on November 3, 2026.

To request the services of the Riverside County Registrar of Voters Office for the upcoming November 3, 2026, General Municipal Election, the City Council must adopt resolutions calling and giving notice, requesting the County services and setting regulations for candidate statements.

This statement will also be provided electronically on the Riverside County Registrar of Voters website. For those candidates who wish to have an electronic candidate statement only will also be required to pay a deposit at an amount determined by the Riverside County Registrar of Voters Office. As indicated above, two Resolutions are presented to the City Council for consideration, one giving notice of holding a General Municipal Election on November 3, 2026, and requesting consolidation with the Statewide General Election and one establishing regulations for candidates submitting a Candidate Statement, both are attached for your review.
