Subject: Fwd: Information about the site for Great Scott

Professional trucking company delivery service would be $200.

HI ANNE,

Please find attached the Invoice for "GREAT SCOTT".

Love the two areas under consideration as well as the fabulous park it would be the welcoming committee for.

We have a call in to Justin Tidwell of Gauston Corp. who has done almost all the concrete pads for our sculpture ....working with us and the customer directly .. he is on vacation for another week; however, his office is giving him the details he needs to quote the sculpture installation on either four 12" circular concrete paw pads 6" deep or a cylindrical 7' x 4' x 6" deep concrete pad and installed with redhead bolts.

I will get back to you with that quote as soon as I hear back.

Karen

Hi Karen –

Michael sent me your questions – I figured it would be easier to email back.

The sculpture is planned to be installed at Panorama Park once the city council approves it. I need to have staff put the full budget together, including installation costs before bringing it to the city council for approval. My hope is to get it on the June 25th agenda if I get cost estimates for installation, delivery costs, etc. buttoned up.

We’re looking at either of the locations identified below at Panorama Park – the rocks will be moved. Both of these areas appear to be DG so I’m thinking they’d require us to pour a concrete pad unless you have other recommendations. It doesn’t appear that there is lighting yet at the locations, so I need to have our public works team take a look and give me some options to be able to light the sculpture. Since the Public Arts Commission selected Great Scott, I need to have someone go out to the site to take measurements to see which location would be best suited to house this grand pup.

You can send the invoice directly to my attention so I can include it in my staff report. If you have any other questions or info, please feel free to email me or text me at 661-547-7383.

Thanks –

Anne
