Title: Approve an Amendment to the Cathedral City Firefighters Association (CCFA) Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Cathedral City and CCFA.
RECOMMENDATION:
To approve an amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Cathedral City and Cathedral City Firefighters Association (CCFA).
BACKGROUND:
On July 22, 2026, the City Council approved the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Cathedral City and the Cathedral City Firefighters Association (CCFA) for the term of January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2028. Upon review, the parties identified a correction that needs to be made to reflect the parties’ final agreement. This amendment is effective August 2, 2026.
DISCUSSION:
Article 20.4 Deferred Compensation. – Correction to indicate that all bargaining unit members are eligible for the City match of $65 per pay period.
