7 RESOLUTION 2026-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CATHEDRAL
CITY, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING A VOTING DELEGARTE AND AN
ALTERNATE REPRESENTING CATHEDRAL CITY AT THE LEAGUE OF
CALIFORNAI CITIES ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING TO BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 25, 2026.
WHEREAS, the League of California Cities (“League”) will be holding its 2026 Annual Conference from September 23, 2026, to September 25, 2026, at the Anaheim Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, the League’s Annual Business Meeting will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, during the General Assembly of the Annual Conference; and WHEREAS, in order for Cathedral City to participate in the 2026 Annual Business Meeting, the League bylaws require the City Council to designate a voting delegate and up to two alternate voting delegates by resolution; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to designate a voting delegate and one alternate to represent Cathedral City at the Annual Business Meeting to be held on September 25, 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CATHEDRAL CITY,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.Raymond Gregory is hereby designated as the Voting Delegate representing Cathedral city at the Annual Business Meeting to be held on September 25, 2026.
SECTION 2.Rita Lamb is hereby designated as the Alternate Voting Delegate representing Cathedral City at the Annual Business Meeting to be held on September 25, 2026.
SECTION 3.The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of resolutions.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council for the City of Cathedral City held on this 26th day of August 2026.
