AMENDMENT NO. 1
TO THE
AGREEMENT FOR CATHEDRAL CITY LGBT+ DAYS EVENTS SERVICE
BETWEEN
THE CITY OF CATHEDRAL CITY, CALIFORNIA
AND
MONTAGE AGENCY, LLC
In accordance with the “Agreement for Cathedral City LGBT+ Days Event services” dated April 23, 2025, (“Agreement”), by and between the City of Cathedral City, a municipal corporation (“City”) and Montage Agency, LLC , a California Limited Liability Company (“Consultant”), and in accordance with Section 23 of the Agreement, entitled, “Amendments”, this Amendment Number No. 1 to the Agreement is made and entered into this 16th day of September, 2026, (“Effective Date”).
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the Parties previously entered into an agreement (the “Agreement”) relating to the event currently identified in the Agreement as “Cathedral City LGBT+ Days”; and
WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to change the name and dates of the event;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, the Parties agree as follows:
1. Event Name
Wherever the event name “ Cathedral City LGBT+ Days” appears in the Agreement, it shall be replaced with and shall hereafter refer to “Cathedral City Pride.” A. This name change shall include the event activity name “LGBT+ Days Bed Race” listed in section 1.1.3 of Exhibit B of Agreement, hereafter the event shall be titled “Cathedral City Pride Bed Races”
2. Event Dates
Wherever the event dates March 5 –7 appear in the Agreement, they shall be replaced with March 12–14.
Accordingly, the event shall be held on March 12–14, 2027.
3. No Other Changes
Except as expressly amended by this Amendment, all other terms, conditions, provisions, rights, and obligations contained in the Agreement shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
SUMMARY:
Amendment No. 1 changes the name of the event from Cathedral City LGBT+ Days to Cathedral City Pride, changes the event activity name “LGBT+ Days Bed race” to “Cathedral City Pride Bed Races”, and changes event dates from March 5-7, 2027 to March 12-14, 2027.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment No. 1 to be executed as of the date first written above.
