I oppose SB 540 because it would expose Californians to federal administration oversight. Trump does not care about stopping climate change nor protecting the environment. If nobody opposes the planned repeal of NEPA, fossil fuel companies would continue to allow methane gas to escape (as shown by Flir Camera). Trump; would demand fossil fuels, I want more local renewable clean energy including rooftop solar. It gives ratepayers more control and distributes local jobs equally and adds power close to where people live and work. SB 540 would require more fire resistant transmission lines
